On last day of his historic 3-day visit to Israel, Narendra Modi ' title='Prime Minister Narendra Modi '>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay tributes to Indian soldiers from World War I at the Haifa cemetery on Thursday.
Modi will visit the Haifa cemetery at around 2 p.m. to pay homage to the India soldiers martyred. Around 49 Indian soldiers are buried at the cemetery.
Every year on September 23, the Indian Army celebrates 'Haifa Day' to commemorate the war dead during the Battle of Haifa. The battle is considered one of the bravely-contested battles of World War I.
The Prime Minister will end his visit today with the India-Israel CEO's meet. Modi will have lunch with the Israeli CEO's at the India-Israel CEO's forum at around 3:30 p.m.
He will leave Israel at 7:30 in the evening for the G-20 summit in Germany.
