The Congress on Wednesday released its second list of 25 candidates for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
Prominent persons who made it to the list are Ajay Kapoor from Kidwainagar in Kanpur, Sohail Ansari from Kanpur Cantt and Nand Ram Sonkar from Ghatampur.
Aradhna Mishra, the daughter of senior party leader Pramod Tiwari and sitting legislator from Rampur Khas, has been renominated from the seat.Congress which was relegated to fourth position in the state this time has aligned with the ruling Samajwadi Party and has been given 105 seats of the state's 403. UP will vote in a seven-phased poll between February 11 and March 8.
