Ban on illegal slaughterhouses, creation of 'anti-Romeo" squads, power to all in the state, are some of the most popular decisions taken by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in just one month after assuming office.
Adityanath, a powerful monk with a strong following in eastern Uttar Pradesh, became a surprise Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on March 19, with his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) winning 325 seats in the 403-seat assembly in a landslide win.
Here take a look at the 50 decisions taken by the Adityanath's government in just one month after coming into power.

- Yogi Adityanath launched new ambulances equipped with life-saving technology. The 150 high-quality ambulances are eqipped to handle life threatening emergencies like cardiac arrest, stroke or respiratory failure.
- The Uttar Pradesh government will be helping poor Muslim families in organising weddings of their daughters. Besides extending monetary assistance of Rs 20,000 to each bride, the government will bear all the expenses for the mass wedding.

- Uttar Pradesh has planned to introduce English in government schools from nursery instead of Class 6 and has plans to introduce foreign language options from class 10.
- The UP government has waived off crop loans of up to Rs 1 lakh of small and marginal farmers in the state.
- The government will from now buy 80 lakh metric tonnes of wheat from the farmers with the minimum sale price (MSP) of Rs 1,625 a quintal.
- Yogi Adityanath has revived the Jewar international airport project in Greater Noida. In 2001, then UP chief minister Rajnath Singh had proposed a greenfield Taj international airport and aviation hub (TIAH) at Jewar.
- The Chief Minister has directed all seven industrial development authorities in the state, including the Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities, to complete all under-construction projects in the scheduled time.
- The Yogi Adityanath government has decided to remove the word 'Samajwadi' from all government schemes, it will be replaced with 'Mukhyamantri'.
- The UP government will distribute new Aadhaar-linked ration cards that will also have silicon chips and barcodes.
- Yogi has asked the Uttar Pradesh police to run a cleanliness drive at police stations and police line every Friday and the police officers themselves would clean the police stations.
- The UP government has also ordered probe in to Akhilesh's Gomti River Front project.
- Yogi has doubled the financial grant given to pilgrims of Kailash Mansarovar from Rs 50000 to Rs 1 lakh. He has also announced the construction of a Kailash Bhawan either in Ghaziabad, Noida or Lucknow.
- The chief minister has directed opening of 3000 generic medicine stores in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jann Aushadhi Pariyojan.
- Yogi has directed officials to start work on 'Bhagya Lakshmi Yojana' to give Rs 50,000 on the birth of girl child in poor families.
- Yogi has also announced Metro train projects for Gorakhpur and Jhansi.
