Six persons were killed in a truck-car collision in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district early on Friday morning, police said.
The accident occurred on the Kurnool-Guntur highway between Bhiminenivari Palem and Medikonduru villages.
A SUV coming from Hyderabad to Guntur was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction.
Five of the six occupants of the Bolero vehicle died on the spot while the sixth succumbed on way to the hospital.Police said the bodies were shifted to a government-run hospital in Guntur for autopsy.
The deceased hailing from Guntur district have been identified as P. Venkatanarayana (47), M. Srinivasa Rao (33), S. Raguverndra Rao (57), D. Kiran (35), M. Raja Rao (47) and Subba Reddy (45).IANS For Latest Updates Please-
