The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led by Chief Minister N Biren Singh won floor test with the support of 32 of the total 60 MLAs in Manipur assembly.
Biren Singh, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Manipur on 15th March, wins floor test in state assembly by voice vote.
The 60 elected members of the Manipur assembly were sworn in on Sunday.
The BJP won 21 seats and formed the state government with support of four each MLAs of NPP and NPF, one MLA of LJP and one each lawmaker of Congress and Trinamool Congress who joined the saffron party.
As Manipur gets its news Chief Minister, the United Naga Council (UNC) lifted the economic blockade in the state after 130 days from Sunday midnight.Saharasamay Desk For Latest Updates Please-
