'Mentally unstable' man injures five Goa policemen | ||||||||

Five policemen, including two sub-inspectors were injured after a 40-year-old man attacked them with a knife at Guirim village, near Panaji, an official said on Wednesday. According to the police, the accused hails from Maharashtra and is "mentally unstable". "We have detained the accused and he is currently undergoing treatment. Our police personnel have also been hospitalised on account of stab injuries," Police Inspector Rajendra Prabhudessai told reporters here. | ||||||||
