Delhi: Two killed as 'parole party' turns into bloodbath Last Updated : 16 Jul 2020 08:10:36 PM IST file photo Six men gathered at a forested patch in Mehrauli on Wednesday evening to celebrate the parole of one of them, who was now out of jail. Hours later, two of them were shot dead by the other four who then fled the spot. While one succumbed to his injuries on the spot another managed to crawl to a nearby nallah (drain) bleeding profusely. It was around 9 p.m. when a man saw the injured person lying in a pool of blood and called police.
"On receipt of the information Police Staff reached the place of incident and it came to notice that CATS ambulance had already taken the unknown injured to AIIMS hospital where he was declared brought dead," said Atul Thakur, DCP South Delhi. On inspection of the spot, a lot of blood was found on a slab on the nallah near the wooded area where the injured was reportedly found lying by the caller. A blood soaked mobile was also found there. The rear end of the nallah leads towards the forested area and blood stains were found all the way to a broken stone wall leading to the forest where also a lot of blood was found. The analysis of footage from nearby CCTVs established that a total of six persons including the deceased had come there in a white car. After parking the vehicle near a vacant plot, they had proceeded towards the forested area.Near the broken stone wall there, apart from the blood, empty bottles of liquor, water and cigarettes were also found. On Thursday, the deceased person was identified as Abdul Ali, a resident of Geeta colony. The car was traced and one of the suspects, Vipin Balyan, a resident of Yamuna Vihar, Bhajanpura, was apprehended and interrogated. During interrogation he came clean about the incident and one more suspect Satender, a resident of Khajuri Khas in Delhi, was also apprehended."On the basis of their interrogation further combing in the jungle was done and the help of a drone camera was taken and one more dead body having gunshot injuries was also traced in the jungle," said the officer.Later, a tatoo which read 'Mahakaal' in HIndi on the hand of the deceased helped police to identify him as Sanjay, also a resident of Geeta colony. Both the deceased and the suspects apprehended were part of a group of six persons who were identified earlier in the CCTV footage. The police investigation revealed that both the deceased have criminal backgrounds. Both Abdul and Sanjay were accused in an attempt to murder case registered in Geeta Colony. Sanjay had nine cases registered against him. Police said that while at the 'parole party' they picked up a fight over a witness in one case which resulted in the two murders."One of the two absconders had come out on parole recently," said the officer.IANS New Delhi For Latest Updates Please-
