Surge of Covid cases in NCR, Delhi reports 1,513 new cases Last Updated : 04 Jun 2020 02:24:35 AM IST Surge of Covid cases in NCR, Delhi reports 1,513 new cases Surge in Covid cases in the NCR continued with Delhi getting 1,513 more positive patients on Wednesday while Noida reported 25 new cases on the day.
Situation in Delhi remains grim with 9 deaths as the total number of cases rose to 23,645 in the national capital. A total of 209 patients were discharged and now the active cases in Delhi stand at 13,697.
In Delhi, 606 people have died so far due to Covid-19. Delhi government claimed that 4,940 beds, 153 ICU and ventilators are still vacant.
Delhi has conducted around 230,145 tests and the city has 148 containment zones.
In Noida, 4 patients have been discharged on Wednesday but worry for the administration is that the virus has spread in rural areas.
