The national capital experienced a pleasant day on Monday with the maximum temperature at 28.6 degrees Celsius, average for the season, the Met office said. It has forecast a cloudy day on Tuesday.
"There would be partially cloudy sky on Tuesday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 29 and 13 degrees Celsius, respectively.
It was a sunny Monday morning in the city with the minimum temperature recorded at 11.3 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between a high of 73 and low of 24 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded 27.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 11.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
