For the 6th time, Nitish Kumar took oath as Bihar Chief Minister on Thursday and this time with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as a partner of his Janata Dal-United. Sushil Kumar Modi took oath as deputy CM. Just hours after resigning from the post of CM, Nitish Kumar once again formed a government in the state and this time with the support of the BJP and the NDA. "Development will be a priority, will take Bihar to greater heights," said Sushil Modi after being sworn-in as Bihar Deputy CM. Kumar gave his resignation as Bihar CM late on Wednesday on the issue of corruption charges against his Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav -- son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad. | ||||||||
