Metro train services resume across country after 5 months

Tamil Nadu: Chennai Metro commenced services on the Blue Line -- between Airport Metro Station and Washermenpet Metro Station. The Metro services resumed from September 7 with peak hour (8.30 am to 10.30 am and evening: 5 pm to 8 pm) headway of five minutes and non-peak hour headway of 10 minutes, the CMRL had said earlier. Chennai Metro operations on the Green Line (between St Thomas Mount and Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MG Ramachandran Central Metro) will resume on September 9.
