Kamal Nath resigns as MP CM ahead of floor test Last Updated : 20 Mar 2020 01:45:29 PM IST MP CM Kamal Nath resigns Amid the crisis over the government, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath announced on Friday that he was going to submit his resignation to the Governor.
He said that every citizen of the state is witness that the public welfare work done by me to BJP did not go down well. From the very first day of his tenure, the BJP started plotting against us.Kamal Nath said at a press conference held here, "You are a witness that the BJP people used to say that this is a 15-day government. This government will not run, but we started the work. By luring our 22 MLAs to hostage in Karnataka Worked. The entire state is witness to this. The public will never forgive these greeders who cheat the people of the state. BJP has betrayed the people."Kamal Nath said, "We have waived the debts of 30 lakh farmers and we were going to start the third phase of loan waiver. This step stopped farmers who committed suicide in the state. But BJP did not like it.The chief minister said, "We have worked to make the state mafia-free. The BJP did not want the state to end the mafia rule. We worked to make the state safe. We launched the youth self-respect program to provide employment to the youth." A large number of youth were unemployed during BJP's tenure. We decided to build 1000 gaushalas for the cows roaming around here and there which the BJP did not like. "He said, "Madhya Pradesh should be made such a state where people have faith. We did not make any false declarations. The BJP was afraid of the development work done by us that the door of the state would now come in the hands of Congress." We have not been accused of any scam in months. The public realized what a pro-people government is like. "
