Gunfight in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir Last Updated : 09 Nov 2018 01:36:24 PM IST Gunfight in Kashmir (File photo) Militants and security forces traded gunfire on Friday in a village in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, police said.
The fighting began when the militants in Tral area opened fire after the security forces launched a cordon and search operation.
The Rashtriya Rifles, the special operations group (SOG) of the police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were locked in the fighting in Darganai Gund village, a police officer said.
