Two LeT militants, Bashir Lashkari and Azad Ah Malik (Dada) have been gunned down by security forces during an encounter in Anantnag.
Militant commander Bashir Lashkari was hiding in a house in Dialgam village with his associate Malik.
Lashkari is believed to be the behind the killing of Kashmiri police officer Feroz Ahmed Dar and five other cops last month.
Two civilians have been killed in the cross-firing between security forces and militants.
