Don't single out Rahul for loss: Singhvi Last Updated : 11 Mar 2017 10:07:18 AM IST (File photo)
Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Saturday said party Vice President Rahul Gandhi should not be singled out for the party's poor showing in Uttar Pradesh.
"If these (counting) trends persist, why single out Rahul Gandhi? He will of course take the bullet in his chest," Singhvi told a private news channel.
The Bharatiya Janata Party surged ahead towards victory as millions of votes polled in the staggered assembly elections were counted in the country's most populous state.
