Two militants and a civilian were killed on Thursday during a gunfight between militants and security forces in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.
The civilian, identified as Aamir Wani, was killed with a bullet to his neck, the police said.
However, it was not immediately clear whether the civilian was killed during protests or had he been hit by a stray bullet during the gunfight.
When security forces cordoned off Padgampora village following information about the presence of the militants, they were fired at, triggering the fighting.
Following the gunfight, the Bannihal-Baramulla train service was stopped as the railway track moves close to Padgampora village.IANS For Latest Updates Please-
