The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its third list of 67 candidates for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly polls. Like in the previous two lists, the BJP has trusted turncoats and given them tickets.
Former leader of opposition in the outgoing state assembly and close Mayawati aide Swamy Prasad Maurya has been fielded from Padrauna and R.K. Chowdhary has been named from Mohanlalganj reserved seat in Lucknow.
Ram Naresh Rawat has been fielded from Bachranwa, Suryabhan Singh (Sultanpur), Chandrapal Kushwaha (Baberu), R.K. Patel (Manikpur), Neelam Karveria (Meja) and Sharad Awasthi from Ramnagar.
Bajrang Bahadur is the party candidate from Farenda, Sameer Tripathi from Nautanwa, Fateh Bahadur from Campierganj, Vimlesh Paswan from Baansgaon, Rajesh Tripathi (Chillupar), former state unit president Surya Pratap Shahi from his traditional Pathardeva seat, Jai Nath Kushwaha from Bhatpaar Rani, Akhilesh Mishra from Azamgarh, the parliamentary constituency of SP mentor Mulayam Singh Yadav and Vinod Rai from Nizamabad.
Dara Singh Chauhan from Madhuban, Fagu Singh Chauhan from Ghosi, Girish Yadav from Jaunpur, Anita Rawat (Machlishahr), Anil Maurya from Ghorabal and Bhupesh Chaubey from Robertsganj, among others.
