The simple logic is: How can you name your child after the name of a plunderer who had murdered millions of Hindus. Timur has been an infamous ruler who had invaded India and was responsible for a genocide. Says a renowned historian Tarek Fatah: Does Kareena want her son also to be a plunderer who would be killing millions of Indians. Before naming a child you shouls at least be careful and know the history of the country and the person. Timur, the Mongolean king, is and will always be a hateful character for India.
