Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra's role in her debut American TV thriller "Quantico" has earned her a place in the first round of nominations at the People's Choice Awards. The 33-year-old "Mary Kom" star plays the lead role of a young FBI recruit Alex Parish on the show and she is among the 15 actresses, who are vyying for a final nod in the favourite actress in a new TV series category. Priyanka says she is honoured to have been considered for a nomination at the award show which recognises people and the work of popular culture, and is voted by the general public. "Wow this is such an honour! First year and a nomination! Thank you @peopleschoice what's say people? #quantico," Priyanka tweeted. The former Miss World has been shortlisted alongside Amber Valletta, Betsy Brandt, Calista Flockhart, Christina Milian, Dianne Wiest, Jamie Lee Curtis, Meagan Good, Emma Roberts, Erika Christensen, Jamie Alexander, Jennifer Carpenter, Lea Michele, Marcia Gay Harden and Melissa Benoist.
