- Riteish gets National Film Award for 'Yellow'

President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday gave away trophies to the winners of 61st National Film Awards. Actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh won his first National Award for Marathi film 'Yellow'. Produced by Riteish, the critically acclaimed film that follows the story of a girl suffering from Down's syndrome, was conferred a Special Jury Award at the 61st National Film Awards. "With Honourable President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee receiving the National Award for 'Yellow'," Riteish tweeted along with a photo. The actor got emotional after receiving the honour and dedicated it to his father, who passed away in 2012 after suffering from a serious liver ailment.
