Milind running barefoot from Ahmedabad to Mumbai

The former supermodel and actor Milind Soman is running barefoot from Ahmedabad to Mumbai and will cover a distance of 570 kilometres via Silvassa. He is running the 'The Great India Run' marathon sans shoes. 'The Great India Run' is called India's first multi-city ultra marathon. Milind, who was last seen on the big screen in 'Bajirao Mastani', started his journey on July 27. The entire event, scheduled from July 17 to August 6 will see 15 of the best Ultra Marathoners from India and the world pass through six states - Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Delhi covering a total distance of 1480 Kms, to promote running as a sport in the country.
