- Hope Deepika's luck works in my favour for 'Tamasha': Ranbir
Actor Ranbir Kapoor may be going through a rough phase in his career but he hopes his former girlfriend, actress Deepika Padukone brings good luck for him and their upcoming film "Tamasha" does well. Deepika and Ranbir, who have previously starred together in "Bachna Ae Haseeno" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", are reuniting on the big screen with Imtiaz Ali's upcoming romantic drama. While the 29-year-old "Piku" actress is having a good run at the box office with back-to-back hits, Ranbir's last few films "Besharam", "Roy" and "Bombay Velvet" have failed to create magic. When asked whether Deepika would prove lucky for him in terms of box office success, Ranbir said, "It is not fair to label anyone as lucky charm. Deepika has worked very hard to be here (in the top). She is a dedicated person. I do hope her luck works on me and not mine on her. 'It depends on 'Tamasha'. If the film becomes successful then everyone would be happy to see our pairing," Ranbir, 32, said. Deepika and Ranbir's last collaboration 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" was a hit and their on-screen chemistry was appreciated.
