The trailer of the much-anticipated film 'Lucknow Central' starring Farhan Akhtar is out.

The trailer was released on social network on Thursday morning by the lead actor himself.

"क़ैदी क्र. 1821 आपके मनोरंजन के लिए लाया है #LucknowCentralTrailer ..," Farhan posted on his Twitter handle along with the YouTube link of the trailer.

'Lucknow Central' tells the story of Kishen Mohan Girotra, played by Farhan, whose aspirations to achieve something big lands him in the worst circumstance.

The film, directed by Ranjit Tiwari, is set against the backdrop of a jail, where Farhan plays the role of a prisoner, aspiring to be a Bhojpuri singer.  

Apart from Farhan, Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Gippy Grewal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq, Uday Tikekar, Sukh Kunwar are part of the film.

Ravi Kishan is doing a cameo in 'Lucknow Central', which is slated to release on 15 September.
