YRF finds new talent, launches Anya Singh and Aadar Jain Last Updated : 06 Jul 2017 07:26:40 AM IST File photo
Be it Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra or Vaani Kapoor, Yash Raj Films has a record of launching new talent in Bollywood.
And now YRF has launched two more faces. First is Ranbir Kapoor's cousin and Raj Kapoor's grandson Aadar Jain and the other is Delhi girl Anya Singh.
YRF honcho Aditya Chopra will bring both Aadar and Anya on the silver screen in an untitled project, directed by 'Daawat-e-Ishq' fame director Habib Faisal.
Where Aadar has a filmy background, Anya has no links in the film industry.
"Adi [Aditya Chopra, producer] always pushes me to go out and find new talent. When casting for this film, we were trying to get girls from Delhi, Chandigarh and other cities. Anya was the result of the hunt to find the next Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. We wanted someone to come out of nowhere, lead regular lives and conquer the industry. Anya filled that spot for me. She came out of nowhere and landed a three-film deal with YRF," Shanoo Sharma, casting director of YRF, told a leading daily.
Anya is for sure a lucky girl who out of nowhere made her dream come true of working under India's biggest film banner, Yash Raj Films.
